Our Retreat Included

Combining the beauty of the ocean and jungle in a private villa surrounded by pools and literally covered with our outdoor, roof deck Zen Den yoga studio!  Our Costa Rica retreat encompassed all that yoga teaches - bringing together the mind and body to shine the luminous, creative soul within.

  • Luxury accommodations in the tucked away beach town of Quepos, at the entrance to Manuel Antonio National parks.  Our 10 bedroom villa featured spacious bedrooms each with a private bathroom (some with outdoor showers!) Our common areas were grand enough for the entire group to congregate and eat meals together. Daily housekeeping ensured we were pampered and the villa was sparkling every day!

  • Imagine an open air studio overlooking both the Pacific Ocean and a jungle. The sun warmed us for each morning practice (and the monkeys entertained us!) We watched moonlight bath over the jungle as the evening practice took in sunset.   We explored many types of yoga active vinyasa to build strength and flexibility; myofascial release using a variety of balls to release tension in shoulders, lower back and feet; meditation and slow flow yoga to remind us to slow down, absorb our surroundings and be present.

  • Our chefs prepared exquisite dinners and breakfasts for us - fresh, local, balanced and healthy! We aim to address dietary needs and feed the body as well as the soul!

  • The trip included two adventures. Guest chose their own trip on one day -choices included guided SUP boarding, hiking through Manuel Antonio to waterfalls and watching the sunset, ziplining, or a hot springs tour  - plus many others! We also chartered a private sailboat and had enjoyed a tour of Manual Antonio from the sea, snorkeling with indigenous fish, and a few trips down the boat's waterslide!

  • In addition, Quepos offered us a spa overlooking the ocean within walking distance of the villa where we enjoyed massages, pedicures, facials and bodywork. Tucked away cafes, restaurants, bars and shops dotted the main road with water views ensuring we had all the amenities we needed but blended with the landscape.

  • Round trip transportation between San Juan Santamaria Airport and the Villa was also included.
